Driving Growth, Building Community: A Record-Breaking $17.85M for HIV/AIDS Services
During my time with AIDS/LifeCycle, I worked alongside an incredible team to help the event grow its annual revenue by 31% between 2012 and 2025, culminating in a record $17.85 million raised in 2025 to support life-saving HIV/AIDS services.
Our success was rooted in people. I led a staffing restructure that prioritized collaboration, clarity, and care — improving retention and equipping our team to better serve the thousands of riders and volunteers who make the event so special.
Equally impactful and important was the work to broaden participation and representation within the AIDS/LifeCycle community. Through strategic partnerships, scholarship programs, and intentional outreach, we made the event more accessible to marginalized groups, welcoming key voices and experiences into the movement.
This chapter was about more than growth — it was about building an inclusive, connected community that could support both the mission and the community it brought together for over 30 years.
